| Hoof it through the wine country with Trail Boss Tiffany Fewel as your guide. Ride through the sun-soaked vineyards surrounding Cherry Wood, stop for tastings at selected wineries and enjoy a gourmet picnic-style lunch at Cultura Winery. Guided rides include horse rental and lunch, stops at selected wineries and delivery of wine purchases to Cherry Wood at the end of the day. Because our rides involve alcoholic beverages - you must be 21 years of age to join us. No previous riding experience is necessary, although horseback riding is a physical activity requiring some degree of fitness and you must be able to get on unassisted. We offer “cowboy limo” hayrides as another fun way to tour our beautiful wine country. Due to the stress on our horses, we have a rider weight limit of 240 pounds. Please let us know of any limitations you might have. We want you to have a safe and enjoyable ride and will do our best to accommodate your needs, but ask that you contact us to discuss weight restrictions and physical requirements if you have any concerns. To be allowed to ride with us, you must wear proper footwear with a stiff heel and no-tread smooth soles. We do have some nice old cowboy boots available for your use, however, sizes are limited and we cannot guarantee we'll be able to fit you. | Special Note:
At certain times of the year we can experience high winds and other conditions that may cause us to cancel rides for safety reasons. We certainly do not want to inconvenience or disappoint anyone, but we cannot control the weather and must put the wellbeing of our riders above all else. In such situations we may offer a hayride as an alternative. Please arrive by 11 am to sign required risk release form, and to try on boots if you need them. Expect to ride until around 4pm. You don’t need to be one of our B&B guests to join us We ride Fridays and Saturdays, year 'round - weather permitting. |
| Restore yourself. Warm soothing waters, delicately scented bath salts, a gentle breeze through the willows and nothing but the wide open skies above - there’s no better way to end a day in the wine country.
Review: “This is, hands down, one of the funnest nights I've spent out in a long time!” If you are planning a trip through the wine country or apple orchards of the Yakima or Columbia River Valley, you will regret not staying here. There is too much to say in a short review, but here are the highlights: 1. A private well appointed teepee that has almost all the amenities that you could want, including a comfortable bed, fridge, outdoor grill for s'mores packages that come with the room and a private and squeaky clean outhouse. 2. Outdoor but private warm water showers. 3. Views of the valley and Mount Adams from the door of your teepee. 4. Terrific home cooked but exceptional cuisine. 5. The owners are two of the most genuine and gracious owners one could ask for. If you think you might enjoy this, you will. Check out the pictures - they speak fro themselves. What a great getaway for a small group of friends or a couple. Do NOT pass this up if you are in the area! |
